After a lovely Christmas break and lots of family time, it’s back to work! (the house is back to normal and sadly all the Christmas chocolate has been devoured!)
2016 was a busy year which is probably why it seemed to disappear just like that! I had a lot of fun, learnt new skills and treated myself to new equipment. I can’t wait to see what the new year brings.
Here we go, a bit more of a chatty, personal blog to start the new year. With the miserable weather and those summer evenings feeling a long way away, I thought it be would be nice to have a look at my favourite place to photograph. And that place is Norfolk!
For me, nothing quite beats the lovely beaches, the golden sand and the amazing sunsets Norfolk has to offer. Me and my family (and the doggy Lily!) go to Norfolk every year for our holiday and we love it. If you want a holiday in England and have your own doggies, then you should definitely give it a try! A lot of the beaches are dog friendly and Lily is always super tired after a day on the beach!
I am originally from Yorkshire (the northerer went down south!) so travelling back home for a visit takes a long time, which is why those family holidays are so special. We are all together and I love being able to take photos just because I can. Shoots and weddings are a whole lot of fun, but so often I forget to document my own memories when I’m not working. I too am guilty of taking all my own photos on my iphone, so I always make a special effort on holiday to use my good camera and capture those special memories.
